Application Design Consultant

As a Cloud Architect Advisor, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient application solutions tailored to meet client business needs.
- You will be responsible for developing high-level architectural designs, including system integration, data flow, and user experience considerations.
- Defining the overall solution architecture, including software, hardware, cloud, and third-party service integrations is another key aspect of this role.
- Provide technical direction to development and delivery teams, ensuring alignment with the defined architecture.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for application design and development best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and developers on technical challenges, helping them to solve complex problems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and senior application services consultants to gather and analyze functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural blueprints.
- Evaluate and ensure that all technical requirements (e.g. performance, security, scalability, compliance) are met in the solution design.
- Design solutions that leverage unique capabilities or specialized technologies to offer a competitive edge in the market.
- Collaborate with account teams to identify key value propositions that set the solution apart from competitors.
- Ensure solutions are cost-effective, while providing innovation and functionalities that meet client needs in ways competitors cannot.
- Evaluate and ensure the architecture supports performance, scalability, and high availability aligned with business needs.
- Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions for optimization in code and infrastructure.
- Design solutions that can scale effectively as demands increase, maintaining cost-effectiveness and performance.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and tools to enhance offerings.
- Research industry trends and provide strategic insights on leveraging new technologies.
- Champion innovation and propose new technological solutions to improve operational efficiency and business value.
- Experience with SAP MM, including process mapping, parameterization, and integration with FI/CO and SD.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA projects (implementation, upgrade, or conversion).
- Ability to conduct functional presentations, negotiate with clients, and communicate fluently in advanced English.
- Availability for occasional travel and working in multicultural, distributed teams.
- Business process transformation analysis supporting S/4HANA projects.
- SAP infrastructure on Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- SAP Certifications, SAP Activate, Fiori, and Fit-to-Standard experience.
- Participation in Greenfield or Brownfield projects.
