Backend Software Engineer

As a seasoned Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, and efficient backend services using Kotlin.

  • Design and implement reliable and scalable backend services using Kotlin
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine features and improve system architecture
  • Ensure high-quality code through thorough testing, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
  • Refactor and modernize legacy codebases to ensure they remain competitive and aligned with industry best practices
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in backend engineering and cloud computing
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in backend software development
  • Production-level experience with Kotlin and cloud-based platforms
  • Strong understanding of API design, data modeling, and system architecture
  • Experience with containerized and microservice-based systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
