Job Title: Risk Manager

Achieve a high level of impact in building a better future by working on projects that drive value creation and have an impact on society.

  1. Structured deal making, including negotiation with co-investors and coordination of multiple diligence workstreams;
  2. Lead asset management activities, driving value creation and representing the organization on the Board of Directors of portfolio companies;
  3. Portfolio management, including internal reporting and coordination with the finance team and accounting;
  4. Maintenance of complex project models, including preparation of investment valuations supported by defensible inputs during deal phases;
  5. Ensure compliance with internal policies and guidelines for all due diligence and asset management activities;
  6. Continuous development of regional market and regulatory knowledge.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or equivalent required; master's degree preferred;
  2. Broad deal experience across infrastructure; company maturity (pre-revenue to stable growth), deal process (bi-laterals, financial advisor led competitive processes and government tenders), sectors (transportation, data infrastructure, manufacturing, health-care and energy), jurisdictions (Latin America, US and Canada);
  3. Proficiency in financial modeling, (MS Excel). Project finance modeling experience preferred;
  4. Ability to build relationships, work in a team environment with limited supervision, and demonstrate initiative and tenacity completing workstreams with short deadlines;
  5. Must have strong project management skills and able to manage multiple workstreams;
  6. Robust analytical and critical reasoning skills;
  7. Will be willing to travel 10-15% with some international travel;
  8. Required: English, Portuguese and Spanish language.
