The EH&S Excellence Technician plays a vital role in applying skills and knowledge to recognize and solve problems that occur in the work area. This involves evaluating and selecting solutions from established operating procedures and/or analytical/scientific methods under moderate supervision.

This position acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience, supporting EH&S Excellence Process Services Solutions as a proficient system user who executes standard operating procedures under Dow work processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Recording requests in the workflow management tool.
  • Authoring safety data sheets and labels using Dow work processes and SAP-based solutions.
  • Executing EH&S data processing as prescribed in work process/job aids.
  • Troubleshooting atypical operability issues for EH&S Excellence Process Services Solutions.
  • Interacting on complex matters within the Excellence Team.
  • Suggesting improvements to workflow design and to work process owners.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A technical chemical course.
  • Fluency in English for conversation.
  • Excellent organization and Excel skills.

Prior experience in regulatory matters in the chemical industry/pharma, EH&S, Power BI, Excel Macros, or SAP is preferred.
