Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Process Control Strategy Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent development, deployment, and governance of process control standards, technologies, and job aids in alignment with global, regional, and industry standards and innovations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish accountability measures and reporting mechanisms to monitor performance and corporate benchmark metrics.
  • Lead the tactical development and delivery oversight of vision, direction, and strategy for process control, advanced process control, model predictive control, and real-time optimizers.
  • Partner collaboratively to coordinate and promote process control engineering programs and policies globally and regionally.
  • Support consolidating overall analysis, proposing recommendations in areas of improvement, and implement sustainable solutions to improve performance within acceptable risk tolerance.
  • Develop global/regional Process Control Capabilities with the creation of technical education strategy, mentoring, and coaching for process control talent.
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) with hands-on definition, implementation, and sustainment of basic PID controls, advanced process control (APC), and Model Predictive Control (MPC).
  • Strong knowledge of process engineering fundamentals and process unit operations.
  • Strong knowledge in data analysis, including dynamic and multivariate aspects.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence diverse multifunctional teams globally.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in facilitation of continuous improvement such as Kaizen, Six Sigma or Lean process green/black belt.
  • Program/Project management skills such as business case development, benefit and risk analysis.
  • Technical gap assessment and solution identification.
  • Ability to translate highly technical information across all levels of technical knowledge.
  • Fluent English.
