Product Language Specialist

This is a role that will see you working as a bridge between different languages and cultures, ensuring our product feels native to each user.
You'll be identifying and resolving language or cultural mismatches in the user experience, and ensuring content is consistent, clear, and engaging. You'll also be responsible for continuously improving translation quality and scalability by maintaining glossaries, style guides, and leveraging localization tools.
Translation and localization of user-facing product content will be key aspects of this role, including UI strings, app messages, tooltips, onboarding flows, and more. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams (product, UX, engineering) to provide localization insights during product development.
Conducting linguis QA and testing on localized builds to ensure quality and context-appropriate translation will be crucial. Additionally, monitoring cultural and linguistic trends to inform localization decisions and improve user resonance will be an essential part of your responsibilities.
We're looking for someone with structured and critical thinking, capable of solving problems logically. Strong understanding of UX writing, UI localization, and in-app user journeys are must-haves. Excellent communication and project management skills are also required.
Requirements- Native or near-native fluency in Portuguese and professional proficiency in Chinese and English.
