Job Overview

The role of a Product Support Specialist involves analyzing work assigned based on priority, responding to customer queries and requests, and coordinating support activities and development initiatives from offshore.

This position requires collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Key-users to understand their requirements and issues. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Product Life Cycle Management processes and experience in license administration of various Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing work assigned based on priority and responding to customer inquiries and requests
  • Collaborating with onsite lead and coordinating support activities and development initiatives from offshore
  • Working closely with SMEs and Key-users to comprehend their needs and challenges
  • Coordinating and following up with product vendors for resolving product bugs

Requirements include:

  • Fluent English language skills
  • Good knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, Configuration Management Database, CIs, Service Level Agreement)
  • Hands-on experience with installation and upgrading of Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), and other applications
  • Good knowledge in Bentley product Support knowledge, Application installation, License Administration, Level 2 Support, Communication Skills
  • Hands-on experience in license Administration of various COTS applications like Bentley, ProjectWise, MicroStation
