About Our Purchasing Team

We are looking for a Purchaser in Curitiba, Brazil, to lead purchasing activities related to the North America region.

We are a group of highly dedicated professionals who contribute to strategic procurement and are active members of the global network of commodity buyers responsible for selecting suppliers and enhancing their performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead purchasing activities on your scope with all stakeholders to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts under your segments.
  • Perform purchasing tasks related to ordering, logistics, and financial flows to suppliers.
  • Evaluate and implement segment strategies through the selection of suitable suppliers and ongoing evaluation of their performance.
Requirements
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in purchasing and negotiation within supplier relationships.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Business acumen and adaptable work style.
  • Positive attitude, service-oriented, and results-driven approach.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative team towards shared goals.
  • Strong team player with leadership abilities.
  • Able to be open-minded, encourage collaboration, and add value through continuous improvement.
  • Motivated by change management and able to drive change.
  • University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Multicultural experience.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
