Job Title:

Government Relations Strategist

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policy-related strategic plans for key issues areas in the region. This involves interpreting and influencing the policy environment relating to key political, regulatory, and economic developments in the financial services sector.

  • This includes assisting in the development and execution of executive outreach to policymakers, ensuring that external government relations are well choreographed.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in public policy, legislative, or government affairs positions in a corporate, association, or governmental context.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop strategic plans for key issues areas in the region, considering the competitive environment, key customers, and global perspectives.
  2. Interpret and influence the policy environment relating to key political, regulatory, and economic developments in the financial services sector.
  3. Assist in the development and execution of executive outreach to policymakers, ensuring that external government relations are well choreographed.
  4. Represent the company before executive branch agencies, legislative bodies, regulatory authorities, in coordination with other internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working in public policy, legislative, or government affairs positions in a corporate, association, or governmental context.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
