Job Overview

A Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall warehouse operations, including customer service and continuous improvement to ensure efficient and profitable performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of warehouse staff in providing coverage for all shifts, including weekend and holiday hours.
  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including labor scheduling, supervision, space utilization, and equipment efficiency to meet objectives.
  • Plan and monitor daily labor requirements with HR and staffing agencies; adjust based on sales forecasts and productivity targets.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, approve timecards, and coordinate with HR on personnel matters.
  • Enforce attendance policy standards and maintain records.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of warehouse management experience with inventory control systems and handheld scanners.
  • Employee development and performance management skills; ability to train and supervise staff and organize workload effectively.
  • Foster a cooperative environment and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices; computer proficiency in a Windows-based environment.
Work Environment:

Warehouses are moderately exposed to unusual elements (extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, odors, loud noises).
