About the Job:
  • We are seeking an experienced Control Room Operator to join our team, responsible for starting up, operating, monitoring, and shutting down processes and utility systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing process parameters within operating requirements.
  • You will compare sample and testing results of process and utility fluids to optimal levels and troubleshoot to maximize sales quality and delivery volume.
  • Maintaining discharge water quality within current operations or local guidelines is also a key responsibility.
  • Additionally, you will monitor and operate electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety, and emergency shutdown devices, as well as Fire and Gas Systems.
  • Accurate production reporting is crucial, with daily submissions required by the company and client.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Hydrocarbon processing operations, with at least 1 year as CCRO.
  • Offshore Personal Survival, Management of Major Emergencies, Medical certificates are essential qualifications.
  • You should have good troubleshooting and operations knowledge, including interpretation of P&IDs and C&E charts.
  • Extensive knowledge of offshore FPSO operations, including Production, Maintenance, Engineering and Safety is required.
  • Medically fit with offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent is necessary.
Personal Skills:
  • We are looking for someone who is conscientious, flexible, versatile, and determined, with assertive and positive communication and performance skills.
  • A high standard of technical and professional knowledge as defined by competencies is essential.
  • Practical familiarity with standard 'Office' software packages is also required.
