">About You and this Role

  1. Advise client developers on front-end implementation and recommend solutions that meet client requirements.
  2. Design and implement elegant user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, following best practices and conventions.
  3. Integrate React components with Liferay modules and systems.
  4. Develop reusable React components adhering to best practices.
  5. Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability.
  6. Participate in code reviews to foster knowledge sharing and maintain consistency.
  7. Demonstrate independence and self-sufficiency in front-end development.
  8. Present front-end implemented features to clients and provide status, estimates, and recommendations.

Required Qualifications
  • Professional experience in frontend development.
  • Strong development knowledge of Javascript, CSS.
  • Mastery of React, including Hooks, state management, and React Router.
  • Understanding of TypeScript concepts and type safety practices.
  • Experience with a CSS preprocessor.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating with them.
  • Knowledge of agile software development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of accessibility is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Liferay is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English.
Preferred Skillsets
  • Java Framework (Spring, Hibernate, Struts etc).
  • DevOps (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Git etc).
  • Unit and functional testing.
  • Database (MySQL, PostgreSQL etc).
  • Webserver (Nginx, Apache).
  • Docker.
  • Microservices frameworks and services.
  • External frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot).
  • System security.
  • SDLC (FLC).
  • JVM and Application Server tuning.
  • Code review for correctness & best practices.
