Sr Procurement Analyst

Job Overview

Yara's Procurement is embarking on a transformative journey to achieve world-class performance across all Regions and areas of spend. As a strategic partner for internal customers, we aim to create value beyond savings through strong partnerships with stakeholders and suppliers, improved ways of working, and digital tools. Our recently updated Procurement Strategy LEAP is driving this change, focusing on security of supply, quality, service, and innovation while contributing to the Company's bottom-line and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of Procurement Professional Services category strategy, with a focus on benefits, marketing, legal, tax, communication, insurance, branding, travel, and hotels.
  • Conduct the achievement of the goals established in the category's KPIs/OKRs.
  • Support procurement processes for internal customers to ensure safe operation and delivery.
  • Execute the strategic category sourcing process and participate in sourcing and initiative teams on an event basis.
  • Be a reference in contract negotiations, supplier management, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to align expectations and drive value creation initiatives to deliver business benefits.
  • Drive best-in-class sourcing strategies to deliver on Yara's needs by leveraging data market insights, data analytics, and internal knowledge.
  • Implement and roll out the outcomes of initiatives.
  • Stimulate and challenge areas on innovation and sustainability initiatives.
  • Conduct business relations with main suppliers and ensure internal stakeholders are managed, maintained, and developed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Master's in Business Administration (desirable).
  • Good experience within the Procurement environment.
  • Good familiarity with commercial contract law.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced in written and spoken English.
  • Familiarity with TCO, LCC, and Cost Breakdown analysis with understanding of cost drivers.
  • Microsoft Office skills (preferably advanced in Excel), knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP).
