Leadership Specialist

As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring people to make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and finances. You will build client relationships that grow stronger every year and provide leadership to a customer-centric team of associates.

• Manage a single H&R Block tax office and accelerate the seasonal tax business by leading a customer-centric team of associates.
• Inspire and develop associates to deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office growth objectives.
• Lead daily activities to ensure work is completed on time with attention to quality, priorities, and goals; manage associate schedules and timekeeping.
• Train and coach associates to execute Service Standards and recognize outstanding contributions.
• Serve as front-line manager for onboarding, development, and performance of tax office staff; prepare tax returns as required.
• Handle onsite escalated client service concerns and resolve scheduling conflicts.

• Prior experience in a customer service, shift leader, or similar role; experience supervising or managing people.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course if you will be preparing tax returns.
• Annual continuing education and ability to meet IRS and applicable state requirements.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Customer-centric mindset; passionate, determined and resilient.
• Able to work a flexible schedule and adapt to business needs.
