As a Perinatal Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in patient care under the direct supervision of physicians. Your key responsibilities include performing fetal examinations, assisting in invasive procedures, reporting sonographic examination results, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during ultrasound procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging for 1st trimester ultrasound, nuchal translucency measurement, 2nd trimester basic and detailed anatomic survey, 3rd trimester ultrasound, limited examinations, follow-up examinations, transvaginal examinations, and biophysical profiles.
  • Assist perinatologists in amniocentesis procedures.
  • Provide accurate preliminary reports on the Viewpoint system.
  • Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine physicians, genetic counselors, nurses, and referring providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a diagnostic medical sonography curriculum or equivalent educational background.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Prefer one-year prior OB experience or recent internship in obstetrics or MFM clinic. Associates degree preferred; new graduates welcome.
