About the Role

Genpact is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our VMware and Windows infrastructure within our data center environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and Maintain VMware Infrastructure: Ensure high availability and performance of vSphere, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines.
  • Administer Windows Servers: Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Monitor and Optimize System Performance: Implement strategies to enhance efficiency and scalability of VMware and Windows systems.
  • Provide L2/L3 Support: Resolve incidents and service requests related to VMware and Windows systems.
  • Automate Routine Tasks: Utilize scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, PowerCLI) to improve operational efficiency.
  • Implement Security Policies: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain Accurate Documentation: Generate reports on system performance and health metrics.
  • Collaborate with IT Teams: Work closely with network engineers, system administrators, and other IT teams to ensure integrated operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
  • 6-8 Years of Experience in Managing VMware and Windows Systems
  • Proficiency in VMware Technologies
  • Strong Knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Experience with System Management and Monitoring Tools
  • Proficiency in Scripting Languages
