About the Role

The Open Society Foundations seek a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Impact Officer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that drive positive change and promote open societies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of strategies that align with the Open Society Foundations' mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective strategy execution and monitoring.
  • Provide guidance and support to programs and operations to ensure adherence to standards and guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including strategy and impact leaders, consultants, and researchers.
  • Contribute to the development of dashboards and analytic products to track progress and inform decision-making.
Requirements
  • Substantial experience in strategy development and execution, preferably in complex settings.
  • Experience with data analytics, including qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Postgraduate degree in a field related to open societies, such as human rights, democracy, development, or economics.
  • Experience with change management and culture building.
  • Knowledge of strategic foresight methodologies and their application in complex settings.

Language

An excellent knowledge of English is required. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
