Job Summary:
In this key role, you will define and lead the customer quality strategy for multiple divisions. This includes fine fragrances, ingredients, and consumer fragrances customers. You will be the voice of the customer in quality and product safety during commercialization.
This role requires negotiation and challenging of customer requirements where necessary. Your goal is to ensure customer demands are met by IFF while maintaining expertise within your area of influence.
You will translate quality demands from customers into procedures, processes, and data that deliver on expectations.
You will stay up-to-date with market and customer trends, ensuring IFF complies with quality, product safety expectations.
You will engage with senior management in Quality, Operations, IC&D, and Sales to achieve these goals.

Responsibilities:
- Engage in conversation with customers, sales, operations, and stakeholders to find compromises regarding customer requirements and expectations.
- Manage project timelines commitments with customers
- Define corrective actions, set specifications, and prioritize tasks
- Identify improvement opportunities based on complaints, issues, disruptions, or risk assessment activities
- Partner with various stakeholders in IFF (regulatory affairs, innovation creation & development, account directors)
- Represent IFF in front of customers

Requirements:
- BS in Science (chemical), Technology, Engineering, or relevant discipline (preferably academic level)
- Familiarity with supplier quality assurance programs and approaches to comply with customer needs and expectations
- Develop effective relationships with customers and cross-functional teams
- Win credibility and influence relationships up and down the organization
- Fluency in English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in Good Manufacturing practice environment
- Conducting root cause analysis and investigations
- Strong technical writing experience
- Ability to work independently to manage work progression and time
- Make decisions in a timely manner under pressure
