Chief Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for existing and new market entries in line with business objectives.
  • Establish effective procurement governance and clear decision-making processes within Brazil.
  • Lead local negotiations and contracting processes integrating suppliers effectively.
  • Support the development of new sourcing opportunities, identifying potential benefits and risks, planning and implementing projects to deliver value.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with stakeholders.
  • Assist and oversee delegated sourcing, delivery of targeted savings, post-award supplier integration and market intelligence.
  • Provide and ensure procurement effective data, knowledge management, and systems/process support.
  • Lead the Brazil procurement team, providing business context, coaching, and direction to meet its performance targets.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience, with at least 4 years of supply chain and/or procurement experience.
  • Previous management/supervisor experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of sourcing models and best practices, including experience with supplier performance management, contracting, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese. Spanish will be beneficial.
