Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Job Overview

This role reports to the Director of Global Sourcing and is responsible for strategic sourcing of goods and services across various categories in the Americas.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Serves as a business advisor to stakeholders, providing technical consulting on sourcing and external benchmarking.
  • Manages sourcing projects, reverse auctions, and initiatives to align with company priorities and specific business functions.
  • Develops and maintains a best-in-class global preferred supply base for respective areas of responsibility.
  • Leads sourcing events, reverse auctions; collaborates with stakeholders to define scope, identify suppliers, and develop internal recommendations.
  • Leads negotiations with suppliers to ensure maximum value and minimum risk to the organization.
  • Manages strategic supplier relationships with cross-functional and cross-business impact across multiple geographies in the Americas.
Requirements:
  • Entry-level role with strong interest in procurement and category management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of procurement law with ability to author, negotiate, and oversee contracts.
  • Experience in one of the following categories: Facilities, Marketing, Human Resources, IT, or Finance.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading the sourcing process, working with stakeholders across businesses and geographies.
  • Ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen, including strategy, financial, and operational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team player attitude.
