Textile and Apparel Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified Textile and Apparel Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of textile and apparel production.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in textiles and apparel, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, provide one-on-one guidance to students, and participate in school meetings and events.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with course or teaching plan requirements.
  • Deliver theoretical and practical classes, ensuring safety, hygiene, and environmental protection.
  • Monitor student progress and provide individualized feedback and support.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain curriculum standards.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Elaborating and presenting periodic lesson plans aligned with course or teaching plan requirements.
  • Delivering theoretical and/or practical classes, ensuring safety, hygiene, and environmental protection.
  • Monitoring students both in person and via virtual learning environment (AVA).
  • Participating in school meetings, parent meetings, and class councils.
  • Providing support to students and parents/responsible individuals.
  • Organizing events, technical visits, and social, cultural, and pedagogical activities.
  • Coordinating pedagogical and disciplinary alignment with the coordination.
  • Developing and overseeing projects within the area of expertise.
  • Supervising interns and apprentices, fostering their integration into the professional environment.
  • Preparing and overseeing students participating in knowledge olympics.
  • Supervising and guiding final course projects.
  • Developing and implementing assessment methods, including grading and remediation activities.
  • Maintaining administrative and pedagogical records.
  • Performing other related activities as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in textiles or related field.
  • Master's degree in education or related field (desired).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
