This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a SAP Financial Accounting Consultant.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP Product Costing (CO-PC) with a strong understanding of standard costing, actual costing, and material ledger.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end Product Costing processes in SAP, including Material Cost Estimates, Cost Component Splits, Overhead Costing, Activity Price Planning, Cost Object Controlling (Production Orders, Process Orders), Period-End Closing (WIP, Variances, Settlement).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cost master data (e.g., BOMs, routings, work centers, activity types).

  • Run and analyze standard cost calculations and ensure their release for new and existing materials.

  • Perform month-end closing testing of activities related to production costing and inventory valuation.

  • Configure and support costing variants, costing sheets, and overhead structures in SAP.

  • Ensure integration with General Ledger (FI), Material Ledger (ML), and Inventory Accounting.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system or process issues related to product costing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field.

  • 8+ years hands-on experience in SAP Product Costing (CO-PC).

  • Familiarity with manufacturing cost flows, BOM/routing structures, and cost component split.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret cost data and explain variances.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Product Costing, Universal Journal, and Material Ledger.

  • Industry experience in energy, manufacturing, automotive, utilities, or life sciences.

  • SAP certification in CO or Product Costing.

  • Experience in financial transformation or ERP migration projects.
