Linux Systems Engineering Lead

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in delivering key components of Linux systems. This is a high-level technical position that requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, estimation, and execution, as well as working closely with product management to define the vision and strategy for our products.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires active participation from all team members. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities- Lead and grow a distributed engineering team
- Demonstrate sound engineering principles through hands-on leadership
- Be responsible for project planning, estimation, and execution
- Collaborate with product management to define product vision and strategy
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product architecture and roadmaps
- Experience managing or leading a team of software engineers
- High-quality software engineering knowledge in one or more areas: Linux system architecture, boot process, Java/GCC/Python/Rust/Go toolchains, ARM and/or RISC-V
- Engagement with open source communities and processes
