Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer (m / f / d) to join our AMETEK CTS team in Subotica, Serbia. AMETEK CTS is a renowned leader in the electronic testing industry, providing innovative solutions for over three decades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and enhance production methodologies, layouts, fixtures, and testing tools while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Focus on productivity enhancement, cost reduction, and product quality improvement within manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze production metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor production lines, optimize workflows, and troubleshoot manufacturing issues as they arise.
  • Engage in new product development with engineering teams, focusing on industrialization aspects.
  • Lead PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) initiatives.
  • Establish and refine Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide guidance and training to team members.
  • Facilitate Lean transformations, including 5S, Standard Work, capacity planning, Value Stream Mapping, and Kanban.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of technical advancements in production, including investments and technology trends.
  • Oversee technical follow-up with subcontractors and suppliers.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and ERP systems (Navision experience is advantageous).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in electronics.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma certification, project management skills, and knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
