UN Women is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Programme Assistant to support the implementation of its Women's Economic Empowerment programme in Brazil.
Job Summary:The Programme Assistant will provide administrative and logistical support to the Programme Team, including programme planning, budgeting, and reporting. The incumbent will also provide support to the Programme Team in the development and implementation of effective programmes consistent with UN Women rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to the Programme Team, including programme planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Support the Programme Team in the development and implementation of effective programmes consistent with UN Women rules and regulations.
- Provide logistical support for meetings, workshops, and events.
- Assist in the preparation of programme work plans, budgets, and proposals.
- Provide administrative support for the audit of programmes/projects and support implementation of audit recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration or related field.
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in administrative or programme management/support.
- Experience in working in a computer environment using multiple office software packages.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.
