A Healthcare Professional Role

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a healthcare professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and promoting health outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient condition on admission and at regular intervals during assigned shifts.
  • Coordinate, prioritize, and integrate patient information from all aspects of clinical care.
  • Delegate basic patient care needs to assistive personnel.
  • Set goals to organize assignments and collaborate with patients and their families on desired outcomes.
  • Act on physician orders in a timely manner and develop independent nursing interventions.
  • Document interventions and responses, auditing aggregate performance to improve systems supporting patient care.

 

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
  • Teach patients, friends, and family members to understand conditions, medications, safety, and self-care skills.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations for safety and infection control.
  • Respect patients and the organization by recognizing patient rights, maintaining confidentiality, and responding to requests using tact and diplomacy.
  • Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and processing requisitions for repair.
  • Contribute to organizational team effort by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport, participating in team problem-solving methods, and documenting actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

 

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Previous acute care experience preferred.
  • Registered Nurse license required.
  • Basic Life Support / CPR certification required.
  • ACLS certification required within 18 months of employment.
