Companion Caregiver Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide high-quality care services to patients in their places of residence.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong interpersonal skills, and can adapt to various situations.

Job Description

The Companion Caregiver will be responsible for providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including:

  • Assisting with grooming and dressing
  • Providing medication reminders
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Accompanying clients on outings and appointments
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a genuine interest in helping others.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualities:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have one year of experience as a Companion Care Homemaker/Companion Care Provider
  • Ability to carry out tasks in a professional manner and adhere to policies regarding professionalism and boundaries
  • Must demonstrate a compassionate nature and possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in the English language is required
  • Computer proficiency required
