Key Responsibilities of an IT Manager

The role of this position is to serve as a key liaison between business units, technology teams, and external partners.

  • Gain a profound understanding of the organization's operations and translate business needs into technologically enabled solutions.
  • Drive improvements in IT/system related business processes by identifying opportunities and developing initiatives that foster business innovation and efficiency improvement.
  • Collaborate with specialists/manager in IT applications and infrastructure to design effective solutions and align them with regional and global centers of excellence.
  • Engage with global centers of excellence, DevOps, sales strategy, planning, and shared platforms to assess technological options and capabilities and develop business cases.

Other essential responsibilities include ensuring accurate and transparent cost models, collaborating with business departments and regions to develop annual budget plans, and providing reporting and insights at the end of each period.
