Taxation Specialist

Sales/Use Tax Intern Position Overview
Kennametal has an opening for a Sales/Use Tax Intern role where you will be responsible for analyzing U.S. and Canadian tax issues, communicating solutions to internal and external customers, and utilizing various systems including SAP ERP, SOVOS tax software, and Bloomberg Tax research systems.
As part of this role, you will create customer tax exemption certificates using SOVOS Compliance software, analyze sales tax issues, communicate solutions to customers, complete and submit Personal Property Tax Rendition forms, submit invoices for payment, work with a third-party provider to coordinate the completion and submission of Sales/Use tax returns and payments, and perform General Ledger account reconciliations.
The ideal candidate will have a Junior or Senior level Accounting, Finance or Business Management major, GPA 3.0 or above, excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, high accuracy, intermediate Excel skills, familiarity with SAP ERP system, and Microsoft Outlook.
