Our business development team is seeking a seasoned professional to drive growth in the Consumables category through strategic partnerships with key sellers. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key marketplace sellers, focusing on expanding their business on Amazon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end relationship management with strategic marketplace sellers in the supermarket and drugstore segments
- Develop and execute account-specific business plans to achieve growth targets and increase seller's catalog and selection
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing sellers (farming) and potential new sellers (hunting)
- Drive complex commercial negotiations and strategic partnerships to expand marketplace selection
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key sellers, addressing their needs and concerns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful onboarding and growth of key sellers
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including GMV growth, selection expansion, and seller satisfaction
A Day in the Life:
You will manage a portfolio of key marketplace sellers, engaging with C-level executives, conducting business reviews, negotiating terms, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve seller challenges. You will work closely with seller support, catalog, and operations teams to ensure smooth seller onboarding and business growth.
