Financial Professional Position

The incumbent is responsible for preparing and presenting detailed financial reports, analyzing trends and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses. They report the organization's finances to senior management and offer strategic suggestions on resource utilization, tax strategies, and budget forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General accounting duties for financial reporting and analysis
  • Backup for the administration of the financial reporting system
  • Review deliverables and reconciliations
  • Statutory reporting for audits and preparation of Government required reporting
  • Review revenue and cost recognition on long-term contracts
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited university
  • Minimum 2 years previous related experience or a combination of education and experience
  • CPA certification is preferred
Skills and Abilities:
  • Proven ability to gather, input, analyze, interpret, and report financial data
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting systems, preferably Oracle
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to communicate complex financial data in a clear and concise manner
Reporting Relationships:

The incumbent Reports to an Administrator, Manager, or Director level position.


Accounting Expertise

This position requires a high level of technical expertise in accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.


Financial Analysis

The incumbent will be responsible for conducting financial analyses, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. They will also develop and implement financial models and dashboards to support business decision-making.


Communication Skills

Effective communication is critical in this role, as the incumbent will need to present complex financial information to senior management and other stakeholders. They must be able to clearly articulate their findings and recommendations, and provide timely feedback to the organization.
