The role of a key account manager is multifaceted and demanding, requiring strong analytical skills and excellent customer service abilities. This individual plays a pivotal part in helping our clients achieve their goals while adhering to strict safety and compliance regulations.
Responsibilities of a Key Account Manager- Determine strategies to maximize revenue per vehicle by leveraging data insights.
- Negotiate rates with freight brokers to secure the most profitable deals.
- Monitor driver activities to ensure optimal use of service hours.
- Balance home time requests with operational needs for accurate billing.
- Establish daily communication with drivers to enhance productivity and reduce turnover.
- Track cargo from dispatch to delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
- Perform administrative tasks including documentation and tracking driver progress.
- Update load information into our platform.
- Develop and maintain relationships with freight brokers.
- Monitor fleet and revenue performance indicators.
- Collaborate with customers to plan revenue goals and strategy.
- Proficient in English and Portuguese.
- High-level negotiation skills.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
