Responsibilities of a Key Account Manager
  • Determine strategies to maximize revenue per vehicle by leveraging data insights.
  • Negotiate rates with freight brokers to secure the most profitable deals.
  • Monitor driver activities to ensure optimal use of service hours.
  • Balance home time requests with operational needs for accurate billing.
  • Establish daily communication with drivers to enhance productivity and reduce turnover.
  • Track cargo from dispatch to delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Perform administrative tasks including documentation and tracking driver progress.
  • Update load information into our platform.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with freight brokers.
  • Monitor fleet and revenue performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with customers to plan revenue goals and strategy.
Qualifications of a Key Account Manager
