Tax Expert Wanted

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Tax Expert to support our team in Ponta Grossa. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Interpreting and analyzing Brazilian tax laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
  2. Staying up-to-date on changes in tax legislation and implementing necessary adjustments.
  3. Identifying and mitigating tax risks.
  4. Preparing calculations of direct and indirect taxes.
  5. Preparing and reviewing direct and indirect tax returns.
  6. Performing tax bookkeeping.
  7. Supporting audit processes.
  8. Contributing to the improvement of automation processes and initiatives in the tax department.
  9. Participating in projects related to taxation.
About the Role

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners. You will be responsible for ensuring that all tax-related activities are conducted in accordance with Brazilian law and regulations.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, along with experience in tax analysis or a similar role.

You will also need advanced knowledge of Brazilian tax laws, experience with SAP system, and intermediate English proficiency. Additional qualifications, such as CRC certification, are highly valued but not mandatory.
