Senior Murex FO Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Senior Murex FO specialist to join our team.

As a senior Murex FO specialist, you will be responsible for resolving daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing. You will also validate pricing and valuation of financial products being implemented on Finastra Fusion Invest (including sensitivities and VaR).

Liaising with the technical team(s) -- when needed -- to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancements is also a key responsibility. Additionally, you will develop FO business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along.

Some other responsibilities include yield curve management and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation, products (IRD, CRD, EQD) management and validation, managing day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables.

You will also contribute and assist existing support group(s) in resolving requests or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues.

Analysis, formulation, proposal, development, and/or contribution to overall solutions as per project deliverables are also essential parts of this role.

Lastly, continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally and performing various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participating in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing
  • Validate pricing and valuation of financial products being implemented on Finastra Fusion Invest

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years experience on Murex with FO functionalities/module
  • Experience in financial markets
  • Strong personality, logical and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented, quick learner, and self-starter
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills

Nice-To-Haves:

  • Very strong product knowledge in IRD, EQD, CRD
  • Equity derivatives knowledge including Portfolio Swaps, Bond Swaps
  • Product implementation experience
  • Strong analytical, pricing, and conceptual skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally
