Procurement Expert

This is a key position within the organization responsible for managing purchasing activities, ensuring compliance and quality standards. The Procurement Specialist will play a critical role in driving cost savings, negotiating with suppliers, and identifying opportunities for supplier rationalization.

• Manage relationships with local stakeholders to drive savings and benefits.
• Analyze data to create spend transparency and define negotiation metrics.
• Screen markets to identify new suppliers and conduct efficient sourcing activities.
• Develop decision memos, award and implement suppliers, and establish contracts in cooperation with Legal Teams.
• Guide local business colleagues on compliance and sustainability in sourcing.
• Steer project roll-outs and change management on a local level.
• Evaluate process service levels and quality of end-to-end operations, ensuring governance and compliance.

• Prior experience in CAPEX management.
• Complete higher education (Engineering preferred).
• Mandatory English proficiency and intermediate Spanish skills.
• Demonstrated domain knowledge of office software.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP and ARIBA).
• Negotiation techniques and awareness of purchasing tools.
• Ability to lead projects and groups for continuous improvement in problem-solving.
• Leadership, negotiation, communication, proactivity, critical thinking, dynamism, prioritization, and versatility skills.
