Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Practice Business Partner. This role will serve as a liaison between regional facilities and senior leadership of our Professional Practice department.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as knowledge of healthcare policies and regulations, are also essential for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key liaison between regional facilities and senior leadership of the Professional Practice Services department.
  • Deliver strategic level support and guidance through key Professional Practice initiatives.
  • Provide oversight and advisory responsibilities for provider services, including credentialing, verification, privileging, and peer review processes.
  • Support medical staff and allied health professional staff governance functions.
Key Objectives
  • Implement Sanford privileging guidelines and assess eligibility criteria for providers requesting clinical privileges.
  • Facilitate provider peer review and ongoing professional practice evaluation.
  • Communicate regularly with regional clinical and operational leadership, leading group sessions and providing direct assistance and leadership to each specialty area.
  • Develop programmatic planning and project coordination to achieve strategic goals of our professional practice initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
  • Five years clinical experience, two years of experience in health care quality and/or administration.
