Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Product Strategist to join our team in São Paulo, Brazil. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy for new oncology products in the Brazilian market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute local marketing strategies aligned with global objectives, incorporating insights from the Brazilian market and key stakeholders.
  • Lead the development and implementation of integrated marketing plans, driving Multi-Channel-Marketing activities and ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively, collaborating closely with agencies and internal teams.
  • Engage with Medical Oncologists and other key stakeholders to strengthen Gilead's position in the oncology market.
  • Monitor market dynamics and leverage market research/analytics to optimize marketing plans and tactics.
  • Closely collaborate with regional sales managers to address market and account needs.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with Gilead's Code of Practice and local regulations.
  • Approximately 30-40% of working time may involve national and international business trips.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in successful marketing plan development and implementation, budget management, and campaign tracking.
  • Strong strategic thinker with ability to formulate, develop, and execute strategy.
  • Excellent team ethic and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Good analytical skills, demonstrated by ability to identify and understand complex issues and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on marketing materials.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong marketing experience in specialty care markets, preferably in oncology, mainly in breast cancer but not exclusive.
  • Field roles, such as pharmaceutical sales, preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of the oncology landscape in Brazil, especially in the private market.
  • Competent experience using Microsoft Office products required.
  • Digital Marketing experience with specialists, preferably with oncologists.
  • Fluent English and Portuguese skills (written and spoken) required.

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately R$250,000 - R$350,000, depending on experience, plus benefits and performance bonuses.
