Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Business Researcher to join our team. As a key member, you will conduct online interviews with leading business and industry decision-makers, extracting actionable insights that contribute to business reports. Your research will cover various topics, including company backgrounds, industry analysis, market trends, and economic indicators.

You will work closely with editors to refine and polish articles, ensuring adherence to editorial guidelines, style, and tone. Additionally, you will collaborate with the sales teams to develop interview strategies and angles, staying updated on industry trends and market dynamics related to the topics covered in interviews.

  • Conduct online interviews with C-suite executives
  • Cary out in-depth research on business-related topics
  • Collaborate with editors and sales teams

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Skilled interviewer experience conducting interviews for media and comfortable interviewing C-suite executives about their corporate strategy
  • Perceptive conversationalist able to ask insightful questions and build rapport with the interviewee
  • Self-starter who takes initiative in proposing story ideas and embracing new tools
  • Strong research skills and ability to understand and distil information on a wide range of topics and sectors
  • Thorough knowledge and quick recollection of past clients and ability to name-drop
  • Excellent time management, forward planning, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail
  • Fast learner who is resourceful, willing to take initiative, and loves learning
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations
  • 3-5 years of related professional experience
