**Environmental Control System Engineer Role Summary

This position involves designing and analyzing various environmental control systems for aircraft. Responsibilities include developing ECS design solutions, integrating with other sub-systems, and supporting artifact development for new or revised designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing ECS design solutions and providing integration with other ECS sub-systems
  • Supporting ECS design projects where new designs or redesigns are required to meet product quality and performance improvements
  • Developing and documenting mechanical, fluid system, and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design
  • Liaising supplier development, test, and production activities to optimize integration and meet program goals
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Legally able to work in Brazil
  • Registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (CREA)
  • Solid communicator with advanced level in written and verbal English
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
  • Demonstrated engineering work experience in Air Supply or Air Conditioning systems
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
  • Experience in system analysis tools, design tools based on three-dimensional CAD tools, Computational Fluid Dynamics tools, and requirements configuration management tools
  • Experience in traditional engineering analytical methods and Aerospace/Industry Standards
  • Ability to perform trade-offs and complete general architecture/layouts of engineering design
  • Full understanding of principles and vision of immediate work and common understanding of work of neighboring teams or disciplines
