Job Title: Environmental Protection Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in safety engineering and drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental health and safety programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, programs, and procedures that ensure compliance with Brazilian and international regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and job safety analyses (JSA), identifying potential hazards and developing effective mitigation plans.
  • Manage and execute EHS audits, inspections, and internal assessments; ensure timely corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead root cause investigations for accidents, incidents, and near-misses; develop corrective and preventive action plans to eliminate recurrence.
  • Deliver EHS training programs across multiple levels of the organization, driving awareness, engagement, and accountability.
  • Provide technical guidance on safety, environmental compliance, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene across engineering, manufacturing, and operational projects.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Postgraduate degree or certification in Occupational Safety Engineering or Environmental Management strongly preferred.
  • Active registration and certification with relevant professional bodies.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in EHS roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of Brazilian and international EHS regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
