Financial Planning & Analysis:
1. Design and execute budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for international operations, leveraging market trends and profitability projections.
2. Analyze sector-specific data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize supply chain efficiency.
Compliance & Reporting:
1. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including GAAP, tax laws (e.g., SPED), and international accounting standards (IFRS).
2. Prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic recommendations.
Stakeholder Engagement:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance overall operational efficiency.
2. Foster effective relationships with suppliers, partners, and other external stakeholders through active communication and negotiation.
Risk Management:
1. Monitor and mitigate currency exposure, raw material price volatility, and credit risks through proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
2. Develop and implement robust internal controls to ensure compliance and maintain a secure financial environment.
Team Leadership:
1. Mentor and develop local finance teams, promoting professional growth and fostering a culture of excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; advanced degrees (MBA or CPA) are highly valued.
2. Minimum 5 years of financial management experience, preferably in building materials, construction, or industrial manufacturing.
3. In-depth knowledge of fiscal/tax legislation (e.g., ICMS, PIS/COFINS) and proficiency in Portuguese and English.
4. Advanced Excel/ERP skills (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and ability to work effectively in a dynamic, global environment.
