Microbiologist Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Microbiologist Assistant to join our team at Straumann Group. As a Microbiologist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our laboratory operations and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the control and management of laboratory inventory.
• Support microbiological analysts in the laboratory.
• Prepare culture media and perform related tasks.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to your role, including procedures, instructions, and forms.
• Perform administrative tasks as required.
• Wash and clean glassware used in microbiological analysis.
• Collect samples for microbiological analysis of water, products, and the environment.
• Record daily laboratory environmental conditions.
• Organize and archive microbiological analysis reports.
• Assist in and perform microbiological and chemical tests.

Requirements

• Completed High School education.
• Pursuing a Technical or Bachelor's degree in Quality, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or related fields.
• Desirable experience in a microbiology or chemistry laboratory.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Desirable knowledge of SAP.
• Availability to work 100% on-site in the CIC region.
