About the Role

As a world-recognised maritime safety and environmental expert, this position plays a pivotal role in expanding market share and influencing safety, environmental and social outcomes through a comprehensive range of new product offerings and solutions.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to implement business initiatives within large accounts, identify new sales and customer growth opportunities and formulate commercial arrangements. Your primary goal is to raise our profile as a provider of choice, drive sales performance and contribute to the wider business success across the South American region.

ResponsibilitiesSTRATEGY
  • Identify priority growth areas and develop and implement business development plans
  • Work with senior stakeholders to identify market opportunities and develop and sell products and services
  • Set short and medium-term business objectives with senior stakeholders and be responsible for the implementation and attainment of the agreed plan
  • Build out commercial business cases to support growth initiatives including end to end strategies which will drive sales, promotional activity, financial analysis & reporting
SALES
  • Act as the first point of contact for new potential clients seeking information on products and services
  • Research organisations and individuals to identify new growth opportunities, targeting Charterers, Ports and Terminals
  • Drive the growth of the business in customer numbers and revenue, ROI, productivity and efficiency targets
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
  • Develop, implement and maintain customer relationship strategy and plan
  • Communicate business strategy to customers and other key stakeholders
Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other relevant disciplines is essential. You should have at least 5 years of experience in generating new business and achieving revenue growth, preferably within the Chartering, Ports and Terminal domains.

Prior exposure in the maritime industry and/or software sales is highly advantageous. Excellent written, oral, presentation, interpersonal and team skills are also required, along with proficiency in spoken and written English and Portuguese.
