Job Title: Vice President Payments Transformation

JPMorganChase is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Vice President Payments Transformation. This role will be based in the São Paulo Office and will play a key part in driving the growth of our Payments business in Latin America.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual with a deep understanding of payments and collections platforms and operational processing systems. The successful candidate will have experience leading teams, understanding operational requirements, and suggesting solutions to optimize operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand global TDD and regional LATAM Payments strategy and interpret it from a LATAM TDD perspective, translating the aspects into goals, monitoring tools, KPIs, and communication plans.
  • Support senior management with business management requests and coordinate related tasks, such as defining and monitoring governance, finance and capacity planning, metrics for automation, and OKRs monitoring.
  • Manage a portfolio, acting as project/program manager for certain products in Latin America Payments, including representing LATAM Operations requirements in various project squads, managing coordination and formalization of the Operational Requirements derived from projects and new products in partnership with Products, Operations, and Technology teams, coordinating testing planning, acceptance criteria, and escalating blockers timely, managing the Readiness phase and engaging proper resources to ensure training, entitlements, and procedures are updated before the go-live date, supporting Implementation (including PVT plan and execution) and Post-Implementation phase (issues monitoring and communication to senior management), and maintaining stakeholders updated on the project's status and next steps.
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of payments and collections platforms and operational processing systems.
  • Experience leading teams, understanding operational requirements, and suggesting solutions to optimize operational processes.
  • Strong communication skills in English to negotiate internal priorities among project stakeholders in Latin America.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile concepts and project management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Payments Business required.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Outstanding ability to communicate effectively and confidently (oral and written).
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Finance, Business, or related areas required.
  • Project/Agile Methodology Qualification preferred.
  • Agile methodology skills preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Business Manager is a plus.
