Job Title: Scientific Sales Representative for Latin America

Quantum Design International, Latam is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientific Sales Representative to join our team in Latin America. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to grow our business in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify new research groups and institutions for our nanotechnology-related products in Latin America.
  • Work closely with our instrument manufacturers and business partners to understand customer needs and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts at current and potential accounts.
  • Compile market information and intelligence to support future business growth.
  • Review and ensure compliance with technical specifications and commercial terms and conditions.
  • Resolve customer issues and problems in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as material science, physics, chemistry, or other physical sciences.
  • Advanced degree with a research background is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the operation of high-technology products in the scientific and laboratory instrumentation sector.
  • Alternatively, 5 years of experience in sales of technical instrumentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • English is mandatory, and Spanish is desirable.
