Security Automation Specialist

Seeking a Security Automation Specialist to drive compelling demos and proof of concepts showcasing our security automation capabilities, integration with third-party services for optimization, and helping the customer understand how to lower their time to identify and contain threats. A strong passion for customer success is critical to the role and collaboration within a radial web organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to listen to customer problems, work with the sales team, and demonstrate a solution
  • Provide Proof of Concept service to pre-sales clients and maintain an ongoing customer relationship
  • Ongoing technical touchpoints/health checks with existing customers
  • Work in a fast-pace environment under minimal supervision
  • Share best practices with other SE's to enhance quality of service and efficiency
  • Develop subject matter expertise in assigned products and solutions
  • Willing to travel regionally for customers facing activities, as well as marketing and user group events
  • Channel feature requests to Product Management to enhance Trend Micro products
  • Deliver partner presentations, events, and webinars

Required Qualifications:

  • Computer Science degree or diploma or combination of education and pre-sales experience in Security Software and Systems
  • Experience working with various Microsoft/Linux software and systems
  • Solid multi-tasking, troubleshooting, and problem resolution abilities
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new concepts and technology using self-paced learning management platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, account management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interface with a diverse set of clients including administrators and C-level executives
  • Knowledge of Anti-malware, Intrusion Detection and Prevention, Data Loss Prevention, File Integrity Monitoring, Email and Web Security, Syslog, SIEM solutions
  • Understanding of MITRE Attack Framework and/or security operations center (SOC) functions
  • Sales Engineering experience preferred (2-5 years)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Cloud Formation, Terraform etc.

  • AWS / Microsoft Azure / Google Cloud Certifications
  • CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
