Security Automation Specialist

Trend Micro is a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions that help organizations protect their digital assets and maintain business continuity. As a Security Automation Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving compelling demos and proof-of-concepts to showcase our security automation capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Listen to customer problems and work with the sales team to develop effective solutions
  • Provide Proof of Concept services to pre-sales clients and maintain ongoing customer relationships
  • Conduct technical touchpoints and health checks with existing customers
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Share best practices with other specialists to enhance quality of service and efficiency
  • Develop subject matter expertise in assigned products and solutions
  • Participate in marketing and user group events
  • Channel feature requests to Product Management to enhance Trend Micro products

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Computer Science degree or diploma or combination of education and pre-sales experience in Security Software and Systems
  • Experience working with various Microsoft/Linux software and systems
  • Solid multi-tasking, troubleshooting, and problem resolution abilities
  • Self-starter with ability to quickly learn new concepts and technology using self-paced learning management platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, account management, and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of Anti-malware, Intrusion Detection and Prevention, Data Loss Prevention, File Integrity Monitoring, Email and Web Security, Syslog, SIEM solutions
  • Understanding of MITRE Attack Framework and/or security operations center (SOC) functions
  • Sales Engineering experience preferred (2-5 years)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Cloud Formation, Terraform etc.
