Inventory Control and Quality Assurance Leader Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control and Quality Assurance professional to lead our Fulfillment Center's Inbound and Inventory Control team.

The Fulfillment Centers lie at the core of Amazon's rapidly expanding operations network: they are where we handle our highly dynamic inventory. In every Fulfillment Center, our teams receive deliveries, pick products, package them, and ship them out.

As a key player in driving us forward, you will oversee and direct a team of associates in Inventory Control/Quality Assurance operations within the Fulfillment Center.

  • Champion safety initiatives and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and secure work environment for all associates.
  • Coordinate inventory control maintenance and random counts aligned with business strategies, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Measure quality, inventory integrity, and accuracy, delivering actionable insights to the operations management team.
  • Conduct shift planning and forecasting while effectively assigning and directing work.
  • Identify root causes of inventory deviations using cause-and-effect methodologies and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive and support network-wide Fulfillment & Operations-focused quality initiatives.
  • Review and analyze customer complaints and process defect data, developing comprehensive action plans to minimize future occurrences.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
