Our company seeks an expert in data analytics to work remotely as a senior administrator. This is a long-term position with opportunities for growth and development.
Job location: Remote, flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting up and configuring Tableau servers on various platforms
- Upgrading server software and managing parameter settings
- Connecting Tableau to different data sources and extracting data
- Managing user permissions and security within Tableau environments
- Troubleshooting performance issues and optimizing dashboards
Requirements include:
- 10+ years of experience in IT
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau Servers
- Strong understanding of Tableau architecture and data governance concepts
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, as well as scripting languages like Python or PowerShell
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex problems effectively
