Job Description:

The Quality Management Specialist role encompasses leading and coordinating globally distributed teams to ensure quality expectations are met across projects. This involves collaborating with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to guarantee project requirements are fulfilled.

Key responsibilities include reviewing customer contracts and specifications for quality-related aspects, such as certifications and product safety, and supporting the project manager in presenting deviations to customers and obtaining approvals for non-conformance reports.

Additionally, the Quality Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring proper documentation to prove resolution of punch items, reviewing quality items in supplier contracts, and coordinating quality plans for projects. They also participate in risk and opportunity assessments, communicate quality risks through PACT workshops, and support customer audits.

  • Review customer contract & specification during project for quality aspects like certifications, product safety etc.
  • Support PM in presenting deviations to customer and obtain approvals for NCRs.
  • Ensure proper documentation to prove resolution of punch items
  • Review quality items in supplier contracts, incl supplier ITP. Coordinate Quality Plans for Project (including project ITP). Monitor the fulfilment of the project requirements
  • Participate in PACT workshops to raise & communicate quality risks. Participate in Risk & Opportunity Assessments (ROA) and updates.
  • Support Customer through creation of Site Quality Plans. Attend inspections and tests as required or requested. Support and monitor Quality Gates. Support customer audits for the project and secures that applicable processes are adhered to. Release final Quality Documentation package for customer. Support the Lessons Learned process (capture and implement)

This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different cultures and time zones.
